Croatia animation fest honors ‘Mr. Deer’

Iran short animation ‘Mr. Deer’ has succeeded to win Special Award from the 28th edition of Zagreb Animation Festival in Croatia.

Produced by Elaheh Farnia and directed by Mojtaba Mousavi, ‘Mr. Deer’ took two years of production with professional tech crew in collaboration.

The 9-minute animation is set in an unknown time, in a ruined subway station which is similar to those in modern European societies. People in this society have animal faces and have forgotten humane values.

‘Mr. Deer’ has gone on screen at international film event like the 2018 Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France.

The 2018 edition of Zagreb Animation Festival was held on June 4-9.
